What this code means

The PCM has detected a malfunction with the speed or distance sensor input used by the cruise control system. The cruise control cannot maintain the set speed because it is not receiving a reliable vehicle speed signal.

Symptoms

• Cruise control inoperative

• Speedometer may be erratic
