Description
The park lock solenoid that secures the transmission in Park has a malfunction. This solenoid also enables shift-by-wire park release.
Symptoms
- Vehicle will not shift out of Park
- Park indicator flashing

- Shift lever moves but no gear engagement
- Override button required to shift from Park
