What this code means

The turbo bypass valve (diverter valve/blow-off valve) control circuit has a malfunction. The bypass valve recirculates pressurized air during throttle closure.

Symptoms

• Check Engine Light
• Compressor surge on deceleration
• Flutter noise from turbo
• Reduced boost response after throttle lift
• Check Engine Light after spirited driving
