What this code means

The PCM detected a malfunction in the Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) system. The APP system includes multiple sensors that track driver throttle demand.

Symptoms

• Check Engine Light
• Reduced Engine Power mode
• Loss of throttle response
• Vehicle may not accelerate
• Limp mode

Common causes

• Faulty APP sensor assembly
• Damaged wiring to APP sensor
