What this code means

The PCM has detected a general malfunction in the Electronic Throttle Control system. The throttle body is not responding correctly to accelerator pedal input, and the system may enter limp mode to protect the engine.

Symptoms

• Check Engine Light
• Reduced engine power (limp mode)
• Throttle response sluggish or unresponsive
• Engine may idle only
• ETC warning light on
