What this code means

The PCM has detected an open circuit in the IAC valve closing coil. Without the closing coil functioning, the IAC valve cannot reduce airflow to lower idle speed when needed.

Symptoms

• Check Engine Light
• High idle speed
• Idle speed does not decrease when warmed up
• Engine races at idle

• Broken wire in IAC closing coil circuit
