What this code means

The brake switch signal is not within the expected range during the KOER self-test. The brake switch signal is used by the transmission for torque converter clutch disengagement and cruise control operation.

Symptoms

• Check Engine Light
• Cruise control inoperative
• TCC may not disengage when braking
• Brake lights may not work
• Shift interlock may not release

Common causes

• Brake switch out of adjustment
• Faulty brake switch
