What this code means
The PCM has detected a loss of Keep Alive Memory power. The KAM circuit maintains battery voltage to the PCM to preserve adaptive learning values, fuel trims, and DTC history when the engine is off.
Symptoms
- Check Engine Light
- Poor idle after battery reconnect
- Transmission shifts harshly initially
- Fuel economy temporarily reduced
