🚨 2016 Troller T4: Emergency Neutral
The 2016 Troller T4 uses a traditional floor-mounted console shift lever with electronic shift lock controlled by the brake interlock system.

⚠️ Chock the wheels first — neutral means the car can roll. Set the parking brake while you work, never stand downhill of the vehicle, and try a 12-volt jump before any override: power fixes most stuck-in-park problems instantly.
The procedure
- Ensure the vehicle is on level ground and apply the parking brake firmly (independent mechanical brake).
- Turn the ignition key to the ACC or ON position if battery power is available.
- Locate the shift lock override slot—it is typically a small covered slot near the base of the shifter on the console, usually on the right side or front edge of the shifter surround.
- Remove the cover cap by prying gently with a flat-blade screwdriver or similar tool.
- Insert a screwdriver, key, or similar tool into the override slot and press down firmly.
- While holding the override down, press the brake pedal (if power available) and move the shifter to Neutral.
- If no electrical power is available, continue holding the override tool down and apply manual force to shift the lever to Neutral—the override mechanically releases the pawl.
Shift-lock override location
Small covered slot near the shifter base on the console, typically on the right side or front of the shifter surround—exact position may vary; inspect the console carefully for a small rectangular cap.
With zero electrical power
With zero 12V power, the shift lock override is purely mechanical. Use the override slot with a tool to manually release the lock pawl and shift to Neutral. The parking brake remains functional as it is cable-operated.
