Preparation
- Park vehicle on level ground and engage parking brake
- Allow engine to cool completely
- Open hood and secure with prop rod
- Locate the EVAP purge valve on the driver side of the engine, mounted on the intake manifold near the firewall
Procedure
- 1Disconnect electrical connectorPress the tab on the electrical connector attached to the EVAP purge valve and pull straight away from the valve to disconnect. If connector is difficult to access, you may need to route your hand from below the valve assembly.
