Preparation
- Park vehicle on level ground and apply parking brake
- Place wheel chocks at front wheels
- Allow vehicle to cool if recently driven
- Safely raise and support the rear of the vehicle using jack stands at the frame rails

Procedure
- 1Locate the EVAP vent valvePosition yourself under the vehicle on the driver side. Locate the EVAP canister vent valve mounted to a bracket on the frame rail, approximately midway between the cab and rear axle. The valve is a cylindrical component with an electrical connector and two vapor hoses attached.
