Preparation
- Park vehicle on level ground and engage parking brake
- Raise and support front of vehicle on jack stands if additional clearance is needed
- Remove engine cover if equipped by lifting upward on pull tabs
- Remove serpentine drive belt by rotating tensioner counterclockwise with 3/8" ratchet and sliding belt off pulley
- Use turkey baster or fluid pump to remove as much power steering fluid as possible from reservoir to minimize spillage

- 1Access the power steering pumpLocate the power steering pump on the driver's side of the engine. Identify the pulley on the front of the pump. Clean the area around the pump and pulley to prevent debris from entering the system during service.
