Preparation

Park vehicle on level surface and turn off ignition.
Allow headlight bulbs to cool if vehicle has been recently operated (minimum 20 minutes).
Open hood and secure with hood prop.
Identify which bulb(s) need replacement: low beam (inboard position) or high beam (outboard position).

Procedure

Access driver side low beam bulb
Locate the single dual-filament headlight bulb (9007/HB5) assembly in the driver side headlight housing, accessed from behind the housing. Verify actual bulb type against the OEM specification before purchasing. The bulb is secured with a twist-lock collar. Reach behind the headlight assembly and locate the wiring harness connector attached to the back of the low beam bulb socket.
