Preparation
- Park vehicle on level surface and engage parking brake
- Raise and support vehicle securely on jack stands at manufacturer lift points

Install cover within 5 minutes of applying RTV. Install cover bolts and tighten in criss-cross pattern to specification.ℹ️Allow RTV to cure for minimum 30 minutes before filling with fluid. Full cure time is 24 hours.
- 12Fill differential and install halfshaftsInstall drain plug with new crush washer and torque to specification. Remove fill plug and fill differential with Honda DW-1 ATF until fluid reaches bottom of fill hole (approximately 1.5-2.0 quarts). Install fill plug with new crush washer and torque to specification. Clean halfshaft splines and apply thin coat of ATF. Install halfshafts into differential output seals, being careful not to damage seals. Install CV bolts and torque to specification.
- 13Final assembly and torque verificationInstall brake calipers and torque mounting bolts per specification. Install new axle nuts (these are one-time-use fasteners) and torque to specification. Install wheels and lower vehicle to ground. With full vehicle weight on wheels, perform final axle nut torque verification.⚠Axle nuts must be replaced with new fasteners.
