Preparation

    Align the new injector with the socket in the fuel rail, ensuring the electrical connector faces the correct direction (match the orientation of the other injectors). Push the injector straight into the rail socket until it bottoms out. Reinstall the retaining clip by sliding it over the injector body and snapping it into place on the rail.
