Preparation

    Using 17mm wrench on top nut and 13mm socket from underneath to hold shock shaft, remove upper mounting nut, washer, and rubber bushing on both rear shocks. The upper mount consists of a through-bolt configuration with rubber isolation bushings. Note the order and orientation of washers and bushings for reassembly.

Final torque lower shock mounting bolts to 45-50 ft-lbs at this position to set bushings at ride height. Fully lower vehicle and torque wheel lug bolts to 75-85 ft-lbs in star pattern.

Pull shock downward to remove from vehicle.

Final torque lower shock bolts to 45-50 ft-lbs at ride height position. Fully lower vehicle and torque wheel lug bolts to 75-85 ft-lbs in star pattern. Close hood and trunk.
