Throttle Position Control Malfunction

What this code means

The ECU detected that the electronic throttle body is not achieving the commanded position. The actual throttle opening deviates from the target by more than the allowable tolerance.

Symptoms

• Check Engine Light
• Reduced power mode
• Throttle response sluggish
• Engine may stall
• EPC warning light on

• Carbon buildup on throttle plate
