Preparation

Park vehicle on level ground and engage parking brake

Procedure

Access TPMS relearn mode
Turn ignition to ON position without starting engine. Locate the TPMS reset button under the steering column near the hood release lever. Press and hold the TPMS reset button until the TPMS warning light blinks three times slowly, then release. The light will remain on during relearn process.

Relearn left front sensor
Starting with the left front tire, use TPMS relearn tool to activate the sensor by holding tool against sidewall near valve stem. Alternatively, reduce tire pressure by 5-10 PSI then re-inflate to specification to trigger sensor. Wait for horn chirp or dash light confirmation before proceeding.

Relearn right front sensor
Move to right front tire and repeat activation process. Use TPMS tool or pressure change method. Wait for horn chirp or confirmation signal before continuing to next wheel.

Relearn right rear sensor
Move to right rear tire and activate sensor using same method as previous wheels. Proceed in clockwise pattern as viewed from above vehicle. Wait for confirmation signal.

Relearn left rear sensor
Complete relearn sequence at left rear tire. Activate sensor and wait for final confirmation signal. After this wheel, system should complete relearn process automatically.

Complete relearn process
Turn ignition off then restart engine. TPMS warning light should illuminate for approximately 3 seconds then turn off. If light remains on or blinks, relearn was unsuccessful and procedure must be repeated.

Verify tire pressures
Using tire pressure gauge, verify all four tires are at correct pressure per door jamb placard. Adjust as necessary. Drive vehicle for 5-10 minutes above 25 MPH to allow system to fully initialize.
