Preparation
- Ensure engine is completely cold to the touch
- Disconnect negative battery terminal and wait 90 seconds for airbag system to discharge
- Raise vehicle securely on jack stands at manufacturer lift points
- Remove engine under cover panels using 10mm socket
- Spray all exhaust fasteners with penetrating oil and allow to soak for 15-30 minutes
