Preparation
- Park vehicle on level surface and turn off ignition
- Open hood and secure with prop rod

Procedure
- 1Locate turn signal bulb socketFrom the engine bay, look at the rear of the headlight assembly. The turn signal socket is located on the outer edge of the headlight assembly, typically the lower outboard position. It has a gray or black plastic socket with wiring connector attached.
- 2Rotate and remove bulb socketGrasp the turn signal bulb socket firmly and rotate it counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn (90 degrees) until it releases from the headlight assembly. Pull the socket straight out from the housing. The electrical connector remains attached to the socket during this process.
- 3Remove old bulb from socketThe bulb is a push-in twist style. Push the bulb gently into the socket and rotate counterclockwise until it releases from the socket tabs. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket. Inspect the socket for any corrosion or damage to the terminals.
- 4Install new turn signal bulbUsing a clean cloth or wearing gloves, handle the new bulb only by its base. Align the bulb pins with the socket slots, push in gently, and rotate clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure the bulb is fully seated and secure in the socket.
- 5Reinstall socket into headlight assemblyInsert the bulb socket back into the headlight assembly, aligning the tabs with the slots. Push in firmly and rotate clockwise approximately 1/4 turn until it locks into position. Ensure the socket is fully seated and secure.
Reassembly
- Ensure bulb socket is fully locked into headlight assembly with no gaps
- Verify wiring is not pinched or interfering with any engine components
Verification
- Turn ignition to ON position without starting engine
- Activate turn signal on the replaced side and verify proper operation with correct flash rate
- Visually confirm turn signal illuminates amber color and is not dim or flickering
- Test hazard lights to verify both front turn signals operate simultaneously
- Close hood and perform final exterior inspection of turn signal operation
