What this code means

The ECM detected that the long-term fuel trim has reached its upper lean correction limit. The fuel system cannot add enough fuel to compensate for the persistent lean condition.

Symptoms

• Check Engine Light
• Rough idle
• Hesitation on acceleration
• Poor fuel economy
• Possible lean misfire

• Vacuum leak in intake system
• Faulty MAF sensor
• Weak fuel pump
