What P0852 Means
The PCM detects an abnormally high voltage on the park/neutral switch input. This can interfere with starter enable and gear detection logic.
Symptoms
- Engine cranks in wrong gear
- No-start condition
- Wrong gear indicated

- Open or high resistance in wiring
- Short to voltage in circuit
