Cheapest EVs to Own (5-Year Cost)

Electric vehicles ranked by lowest 5-year ownership cost. EVs skip oil changes, spark plugs, and timing belts entirely — so the maintenance basket comes out tiny.

EVs filtered via fuel_type. Routine maintenance basket items that don't apply to EVs (oil, spark plugs, fuel filter, etc.) naturally drop out — the basket just queries for what exists in our DB per vehicle. EVs end up cheaper to own on maintenance even before factoring in fuel savings (which we don't track here).
