🚨 2015 Lamborghini Huracan: Emergency Neutral
The 2015 Huracan uses a console-mounted automatic shifter with electronic shift-by-wire and a mechanical shift-lock override release.

⚠️ Chock the wheels first — neutral means the car can roll. Set the parking brake while you work, never stand downhill of the vehicle, and try a 12-volt jump before any override: power fixes most stuck-in-park problems instantly.
The procedure
- Engage the parking brake and ensure all wheels are properly chocked.
- Locate the small plastic override cap on the center console near the shifter base (typically on the left side or forward position relative to the shifter).
- Remove the cap using a flathead screwdriver or plastic trim tool.
- Insert a small screwdriver or the vehicle's emergency key blade into the shift-lock override slot.
- Press down firmly on the override release mechanism.
- While holding the override down, press the brake pedal if electrical power is available and move the shifter to neutral.
- If no power is available, maintain pressure on the override and manually move the shifter through its gate to neutral position.
- Replace the override cap.
Shift-lock override location
Plastic cap near the shifter base on center console, generally left side or forward of shifter gate; exact position should be confirmed by visual inspection.
With zero electrical power
With zero electrical power, the electronic shift-by-wire will not operate, but the mechanical shift-lock override remains functional. Apply firm pressure to the override release while moving the shifter. The ignition key position is irrelevant when using the mechanical override with a dead battery.
