🚨 2018 Lamborghini Urus: Emergency Neutral
The 2018 Urus uses a traditional floor-mounted automatic shifter lever located on the center console with electronic shift-by-wire control and a shift lock button on the lever.

⚠️ Chock the wheels first — neutral means the car can roll. Set the parking brake while you work, never stand downhill of the vehicle, and try a 12-volt jump before any override: power fixes most stuck-in-park problems instantly.
The procedure
- Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and apply the parking brake firmly (or use wheel chocks if brake won't hold).
- Turn the ignition to ON/ACC position if 12V power is available (do not start engine).
- Press and hold the brake pedal firmly.
- Press the shift lock release button on the side of the shifter lever and move the shifter to Neutral.
- If the shift lock button does not release the shifter, locate the manual shift lock override access point.
- The override is typically accessed by removing a small trim cap or cover near the base of the shifter console—look for a small rectangular cover directly adjacent to or in front of the shifter base.
- Insert a small flathead screwdriver or the key blade into the override slot and press down while moving the shifter to Neutral.
- Once in Neutral, the vehicle can be rolled or loaded onto a flatbed.

With zero electrical power
With completely dead 12V battery, the electronic shifter will not respond to normal inputs. You must use the manual shift lock override slot (remove small trim cap near shifter base, insert screwdriver/key blade, press down and move shifter to N). If override access fails, the vehicle must be loaded onto a flatbed with wheels free—do NOT attempt to tow with drive wheels on the ground.
