The procedure
- Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface with wheel chocks in place
- Attempt to restore 12V power: open hood using emergency mechanical release (pull hood release twice, then use mechanical lever under front lip), connect jump pack to 12V battery in front trunk area
- If 12V power restored: press brake pedal, press start button to energize vehicle systems, use gear selector to shift to Neutral
- Access the Transport Mode: with 12V power available, turn ignition ON, go to vehicle menu on center screen, select 'Service' or 'Transport' mode, follow prompts to engage neutral tow mode
- If no 12V power can be restored, vehicle CANNOT be shifted to neutral - it must be loaded onto flatbed with all four wheels off the ground
