- Ensure the vehicle is on level ground and apply the parking brake firmly

- Locate the shift lock release cover - on the Corsa D, look for a small rectangular or square plastic cover near the shifter base on the console
- The override is typically located on the left front side of the shifter boot/surround area
- Use a flathead screwdriver or key to carefully pry off the small plastic cover
