Preparation

Park vehicle on level surface and turn ignition off.

Procedure

Lift driver side wiper arm
Carefully lift the driver side wiper arm away from the windshield. Hold or support the arm in the raised position; spring tension will generally keep it upright, but be prepared to support it if it does not lock in place.

Release driver side wiper blade
Locate the connector where the wiper blade attaches to the wiper arm. The 1992 Viper uses a hook-style or tab-release connector. Press or lift the release tab (usually a small lever or button on the blade assembly) while sliding the blade assembly away from the hook end of the wiper arm to disconnect it. If resistance is encountered, a small flathead screwdriver can be used to gently pry the release tab.

Remove driver side wiper blade
Once the connector is released, slide the old wiper blade completely off the wiper arm and set aside.

Install new driver side wiper blade
