- Park vehicle on level surface with front wheels pointed straight ahead

- Remove both front wheels
- Place drain pan under power steering gear box
- Extract as much power steering fluid as possible from reservoir using turkey baster or pump
- Mark relationship between intermediate shaft and steering column for alignment reference

Reassembly
