Procedure

Look for wetness, drips, or coolant seepage. Use flashlight and mirror to inspect hard-to-see areas.
- 8Inspect turbocharger cooling circuitsCheck the turbocharger coolant supply and return lines on both turbochargers. Inspect the intercooler connections and air-to-water intercooler system for coolant leaks. On this twin-turbo engine, these are common leak points. Check beneath the intake manifold area where coolant passages connect.
