Procedure
- 1Position driver side wiper armLift the driver side wiper arm away from the windshield until it locks in the upright service position. The arm should stay vertical on its own.
- 2Remove driver side wiper bladeLocate the release tab or button on the wiper blade connector where it attaches to the arm. Press or pull the release mechanism while sliding the blade downward along the arm hook to disengage it. Remove the old blade completely.
- 3Install new driver side wiper bladeAlign the new 26-inch wiper blade connector with the wiper arm hook. Slide the blade upward onto the hook until you hear or feel a distinct click indicating it is fully locked in place. Gently tug the blade to confirm secure attachment.
- 4Lower driver side wiper armCarefully lower the wiper arm back to the windshield, supporting it with your hand to prevent it from snapping down forcefully against the glass.
- 5Position passenger side wiper armLift the passenger side wiper arm away from the windshield until it locks in the upright service position.
