Preparation

  1. Park vehicle on level surface and engage parking brake.
  2. Loosen front wheel lug nuts while vehicle is on ground.
  3. Raise front of vehicle and support securely on jack stands placed at manufacturer-specified jacking points.

    Reconnect the sway bar end link to the lower control arm. Hold the link shaft with an Allen key and torque the retaining nut to specification.

    Reinstall the wheel and hand-tighten the lug nuts. Lower the vehicle onto alignment ramps, wheel dollies, or safely onto the ground to achieve normal ride height with vehicle weight on the suspension. If using ramps or the ground, ensure the vehicle cannot roll.

    With the vehicle at ride height and suspension loaded, torque both the front and rear lower control arm frame mounting bolts to specification in the sequence: rear bolt first, then front bolt. This critical step ensures proper bushing alignment and longevity.
