Access fog light area
Turn the steering wheel fully in the opposite direction of the fog light being replaced to improve access. For driver side fog light, turn wheel fully right; for passenger side, turn wheel fully left. This opens up the wheelwell area for better reach.

Remove wheelwell liner fasteners
Locate the plastic wheelwell liner in front of the tire. Remove the push-pin fasteners securing the front portion of the wheelwell liner using a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool. You only need to remove 2-3 fasteners nearest the fog light area to create enough access. Pull the liner back gently to expose the rear of the fog light assembly. Verify bulb type against the specific assembly/trim (commonly 9145/H10 or PSX24W) — if not included with assembly.

Disconnect electrical connector
Reach behind the fog light assembly and locate the electrical connector. Press the release tab on the connector and pull it straight off the fog light assembly. You may need to rotate the connector slightly while pulling to release it.

Remove fog light mounting fasteners

Remove fog light assembly

Install new fog light assembly
Position the new fog light assembly into the bumper opening, ensuring any alignment tabs or grooves are properly seated. Angle the assembly as needed to fit it through the opening, then align the mounting holes with the bracket behind the bumper.

Install mounting fasteners
Insert and tighten the mounting screws or bolts finger-tight first to ensure proper alignment. Once both fasteners are started, tighten them securely using the 10mm socket or Phillips screwdriver. Do not overtighten as this may crack the plastic housing.

Reconnect electrical connector
Push the electrical connector firmly onto the back of the fog light assembly until you hear or feel it click into place. Gently tug on the connector to verify it is fully seated and locked.

Reinstall wheelwell liner
Pull the wheelwell liner back into position and reinstall all push-pin fasteners that were removed. Ensure each fastener is fully seated and the liner is secure against the fender.

Reassembly
