Preparation

Access antenna motor location
Locate the power antenna motor assembly mounted on the right front inner fender well, near the battery. It will have the antenna mast extending upward and an electrical connector on the motor body.

Disconnect electrical connector
Press the release tab on the electrical connector attached to the antenna motor and pull straight away from the motor. If connector is tight, gently wiggle while pulling to release.

Disconnect antenna cable
Locate the antenna coax cable connection on the motor assembly. Unscrew the cable connector by turning counterclockwise by hand or with needle-nose pliers if tight. Set cable aside to prevent damage.

Remove antenna mast

Connect antenna cable
Thread the antenna coax cable onto the motor assembly connector by turning clockwise. Hand tighten firmly, ensuring a secure connection to prevent signal loss. Do not use excessive force that could damage the connector threads.

Reconnect electrical connector
Align the electrical connector with the motor terminal and push firmly until the locking tab clicks into place. Gently tug on the connector to verify it is fully seated and locked.
