Preparation

   Prepare new mirror assembly
   Unpack the new mirror assembly and verify it matches the original configuration (camera, blind spot sensors, power folding, heated glass). Install a new gasket/seal onto the mirror base if not pre-installed. Ensure the gasket is properly seated in the groove around the mirror base.

   Route wiring and position new mirror
   Thread the mirror wiring harness through the door opening from outside to inside. Align the mirror base with the three mounting holes on the door frame. Ensure the gasket is properly positioned and not pinched. Have an assistant support the mirror from outside or use tape to temporarily hold it in position.

   Install mirror mounting bolts
   Install all three T25 Torx mounting bolts finger-tight first to ensure proper alignment. Once all bolts are started, tighten them in a star pattern to ensure even pressure on the gasket.     Position the upper door trim panel back into place. Align all clip locations and press firmly to seat each clip. Work from front to back, ensuring each clip engages with an audible click. Verify the trim panel is flush with surrounding surfaces.

    Reconnect 12V battery and initialize vehicle

Reassembly
