Preparation

  1. Park on level ground, place in P, engage parking brake.
  2. Exit ALL doors with the key fob away from the vehicle. Wait at least 2 minutes for HV systems to fully de-energize, even on this non-HV job.

  4. Reconnect the 48V low-voltage battery per Tesla procedure.
  5. Exit Service Mode and Jack Mode via the touchscreen.
  6. With the vehicle stationary and in P, pump the brake pedal firmly multiple times until it becomes firm — this seats the pistons against the new pads. Do NOT attempt to drive until pedal is firm.
  7. Verify brake fluid level one more time after pedal pump-up; top off if needed.
