Preparation

  1. Park on level ground, place in P, engage parking brake (you will release it via service mode shortly).
  2. Exit ALL doors with the key fob away from the vehicle. Wait at least 2 minutes for HV systems to fully de-energize, even on this non-HV job.

Reassembly

  1. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
  2. Reconnect the 48V low-voltage battery per Tesla's Cybertruck-specific procedure.
  3. Re-enter the vehicle, wake the system, and exit Service Mode / Jack Mode via the touchscreen.
  4. Take the EPB out of service mode so the actuators re-engage. Cycle the parking brake on/off several times via the touchscreen and confirm no fault messages.
  5. With the vehicle still stationary and in P, press the brake pedal firmly several times until it feels firm — this seats the pads against the new rotors. Do NOT drive until pedal is firm.
