Warnings

⚠️This vehicle has both a high-voltage traction battery and 12V auxiliary battery. Never work on high-voltage orange cables. Only service the 12V auxiliary battery located in the engine compartment.
⚠️Always disconnect negative terminal first and reconnect it last to prevent short circuits.
Disconnecting the 12V battery will erase radio presets and may require relearning of certain vehicle systems. Use a battery memory saver if desired.

Preparation
