Preparation
- Chock the rear wheels securely
- With vehicle on the ground, loosen wheel lug nuts 1/4 turn
- With vehicle on the ground, loosen the axle nut using a breaker bar and 30mm or 32mm socket (nut is torqued to 250 Nm)
- Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal and wait 2 minutes
- Raise vehicle and support securely on jack stands at manufacturer specified lift points
- Remove the wheel completely
Procedure
