Preparation

  1. Park vehicle on level surface and place wheel chocks at front wheels
  2. Ensure vehicle is in Park mode and powered off completely
  3. Release parking brake to allow rear brake drum removal
  4. Loosen rear wheel lug nuts while vehicle is on ground
  5. Raise rear of vehicle with floor jack and support securely on jack stands

Open the bleeder screw briefly to release fluid and air, then close before pedal reaches floor. Repeat until fluid runs clear with no air bubbles. Tighten bleeder screw to specification. Check master cylinder level frequently and top off as needed.
    Never let the brake master cylinder run dry during bleeding or air will enter the system requiring complete system bleed.
