Preparation

    Lubricate the new upper and lower O-rings with clean engine oil or gasoline. Install the lower O-ring onto the injector tip groove and the upper O-ring onto the injector body groove. Ensure O-rings are fully seated in their grooves with no twists or damage.
    Never reuse old O-rings. Always use new O-rings from the injector kit to prevent fuel leaks.

    Align the new injector with the fuel rail bore, matching the orientation of the other injectors. Push the injector firmly into the fuel rail until it bottoms out. Install the retaining clip by pressing it into the groove until it clicks into place, securing the injector.

    Ensure the lower injector O-rings are lubricated. Align all four injectors with their respective ports in the intake manifold.     Install both fuel rail mounting bolts finger-tight first to ensure proper alignment. Then torque both bolts to specification in a cross pattern using a torque wrench.
