Preparation
- Park vehicle on level surface and engage parking brake
- Disconnect 12V auxiliary battery negative terminal
- Allow vehicle systems to power down completely (wait 2 minutes)
- Turn front wheels fully to the right for better access to left wheel well
- Place fluid drain pan under left front wheel well area
Procedure
- 1Remove front left wheelLoosen the lug nuts on the front left wheel, then raise and support the vehicle on a jack stand. Remove the wheel completely to access the inner fender liner.
- 2Remove inner fender linerUsing trim panel removal tools, carefully remove the plastic push clips securing the inner fender liner. There are approximately 8-10 clips along the perimeter. Fold the liner back or remove it completely to expose the washer reservoir mounted behind it.

- 9Install washer pump in new reservoirIf installing a new reservoir, transfer the washer pump to the new unit. Insert the pump with its sealing grommet into the reservoir opening and rotate clockwise 1/4 turn until it locks into place. Ensure the grommet seats properly to prevent leaks.
