  1. Park vehicle on level surface and engage parking brake

Refill the master cylinder reservoir to the MAX line with fresh DOT 4 brake fluid. Instruct the assistant to slowly pump the brake pedal 3-5 times and hold firm pressure. Open the bleeder screw 1/4 to 1/2 turn and observe fluid and air bubbles flowing through the tube. Close the bleeder screw before the pedal reaches the floor.
