Preparation

  1. Park vehicle on level, solid ground and engage parking brake
  2. Place wheel chocks behind rear wheels
  3. Access the high-voltage disconnect (typically under rear cargo area or driver's seat) and follow Rivian's lockout/tagout procedure to de-energize the high-voltage system
  4. Wait minimum 5 minutes after HV disconnect for capacitor discharge
