Preparation
- Park vehicle on level surface and engage parking brake
- Disconnect negative battery terminal and wait 2 minutes for airbag system capacitors to discharge

- Plan wire routing from battery through firewall or door jamb to cargo area, avoiding pinch points

Procedure

Verification
- Verify amplifier power LED illuminates when ignition is in ACC or RUN position
- Test subwoofer output across full volume range with no distortion or clipping at normal listening levels
- Check for rattles or vibrations in cargo area at moderate bass levels and secure any loose panels
- Verify all electrical connections are tight and properly insulated with no exposed wire
