Preparation

   Extract wiper linkage assembly
   Carefully maneuver the complete wiper linkage assembly out of the cowl area. The assembly may need to be rotated or angled to clear the hood hinge and other obstructions. Remove the assembly from the vehicle and set aside.

   Clean mounting surfaces
   Use a wire brush to clean the pivot mounting points and bracket surfaces on the vehicle structure. Remove any corrosion, debris, or old thread locker from mounting holes. Ensure all mounting surfaces are clean and free from obstructions for proper new linkage installation.

   Install new linkage assembly
   Position the new wiper linkage assembly into the cowl area, reversing the removal process. Align the pivot points with their respective mounting locations. Reassembly

3. Check that cowl cover is fully seated and all clips are engaged

Verification

• Turn ignition to ON and test wiper operation in all speeds (low, high, intermittent)

• Confirm wiper blades contact the windshield properly across their entire travel arc
