Preparation

These plugs may be corroded; apply penetrating oil if stuck. Clean bores thoroughly with wire brush.⚠Limited working space increases risk of tool slippage. Ensure solid grip and controlled strikes to avoid hand injury.
- 6Access and remove rear freeze plugTilt engine forward by raising passenger side approximately 3-4 inches using engine hoist. This provides access to rear freeze plug near bellhousing area.
